1st September 2010: Council to hire PR firm to "rescue the image" of the unpopular plan to demolish Union Terrace Gardens: see "News" link.

If you feel strongly about the fact that public money is being used to pay Public Relations consultants to shore up a project the public DOES NOT WANT, then please consider joining Friends of Union Terrace Gardens. With your support we can save our Gardens. Write to your councillors and tell them what you think.

• Preserve Aberdeen's much loved historic Union Terrace Gardens.
• Work to improve the gardens - better access, toilets, cafes.
• Find ways to use the gardens more - events, concerts
• Fight the "City Square Project" proposal to destroy the gardens
